Insurance

Insurance is confusing...

It shouldn't be, but it is. We have learned that it is important for families to have a good understanding of the benefits covered by their insurance. We recommend you call your insurance to confirm that we are in-network. When you call, this is a good opportunity to confirm Coordination of Benefits (if you have more than one insurance, each insurance company will know who is going to pay the bill) and select a PCP (if you have an HMO plan). These are things that need to be completed yearly, and our billing team cannot do it for you. If you take these steps, it will reduce the likelihood of a billing error and ensure your insurance company is paying appropriately.
